3.24.08
- Activity Check, 3/24-4/1. Board is here. -
...And so updates have once again been moved to the headers/footers. 'Cept this time it's main, so the updates won't be viewable from roleplay boards. Blame me (Calli) for the constant change here. >> I can never decide on one thing. Anyway, so the two updates done in the announcement forum will stay there for awhile. The ooc links were also moved above and below this table. Above is the general out of character, and below is the roleplay-related ooc. I also think we might do an activity check soon, so we can delete the inactive users. Activity check is up. Click the link above, under important links, or in announcements. I'm guessing our active users will be few, but that's ok. Um...yeah. That's about it. Hope you like the new updates table.
quickedit;; Yes, so Calli is stupid and forgot to put 'gender' in the char form. So if you haven't already, please put your chars gender on the form. I've updated the form, too. Thank you!
A desolate field, all dead or dying grass makes up the majority of the field that is Symphonic Silence. It is a light land, be sure of that, but not everything is as always seems. There are enough patches in the areas in direct contact with the land that it can support a small herd, and there is a small stream, that though doeosn’t hold a large portion of water, seems to never end. It’s a run down land, more worthy of rats than horse, to be truthful, but during the night when the cicadas are all around in the patches of land that they hide in, it makes it worth it to hear their voices.
This territory is a secluded one, surrounded on three sides, and almost completely hidden, by a line of trees (the fourth side being blocked by Little Norr). But on the bottom western corner of the land, there is a small entrance, in fact the only entrance. Inside there is a small lake, fed by small waterfall (no horse knows how it keeps from flooding). There are two caves, one on each side of the waterfall. They are small, but big enough to be able to fit a herd. All around on the inside, then, is grass, and plenty of room.
A stream runs down a mountain creating a small water fall as it runs off the mountain edge behind which a cave is concealed. It's moist in the cave, water sometimes drips down the walls puddling on the floor. But the stone provides shelter from the elements. Outside on either side of the water flowing are patches of trees and grass which provides a fair amount of foliage for which it's residence may eat from. The trek up the mountain is hard and treacherous and only horses in top condition can keep their footing. Much like the stallion who claims it the outside looks peaceful, the trees and waterfall. But once you step inside the head between the stone walls it is dark and dreary.
This is where all fights and steals will take place. If you challenge someone for a position, please be sure to send them a message and let them know. They then have 3 days to reply.
- The Square this small forest is perfect for fights, consisting of tall trees spread far enough apart that there is room for it.
This is definitely not a place to wander into, foolish horses.
