The rules just recieved a major edit. Please read them. I didn't go through at bold/underline all the new/changed rules, because there's so many. Just read them. <3
General - Use common sense. - Excessive chat speak (ex. i kno u 2) should not be used anywhere. Inside roleplay or out. - Please don't curse. I can understand if you do a bit, but I don't want characters running around screaming the 'f word' (yes I did just say that). - Don't use [*sup] text [*/sup] in your posts. The font is already set to make it that size. - You can have as many characters as you want, as long as you can keep up with all of them. - In the character board, it's one thread per person. One post (inside the thread) per character. If you think this is too confusing, please head over to the suggestions board inside Out of Character. - Images must be 500 or under in width, but can be as high as you want (with logical limits).
Roleplay - Godmoding and powerplaying = nuh-uh. Ever. Even with permission. - 150 words per post. It's not that hard, really. This is an intermediate site. if you can't handle it, don't join. - Graphic breeding is a no. This isn't an animal porn site, please. If you're really insistent about it, take it to messaging. You can do whatever you want in messaging. - Again, common sense is a must. - A horse of any alignment can be part of any herd, light, dark, or neutral.
Stallions - Can claim land - Can lead a herd - Cannot adopt foals - Can fight over mares/land/positions.
Mares - Cannot claim land - Can lead a herd - Can adopt foals - Can fight for positions.
Foals - Cannot be born for one real-life month. We're trying to be semi-realistic here. - Foals (like every other horse) age every 2 weeks. Don't age your foals older than they should be. - Have to be 2 years to breed - Can be abandoned/adopted, but only by mares.
Fighting/Challenging - Fights happen in The Square. Challenges happen in the herd land. - Each horse is allowed two full blocks or dodges (not both) per fight. - Each horse gets hit three times. That means, five posts per person in the fight and the fight is over. - Phantom or I will determine the winner. Please send one of us the thread url only after you've been waiting for more than 3 days. - Territories and positions can only be challenged for every 2 weeks (real life). - Stallions and mares may fight eachother, stallions won't always win. - Challenges must be answered to within 3 days or the challenged forfeits and the challenger wins.
Stealing - Stealing is done in The Square only. - Stealing is done in riddle form. - Each herd leader has 3 chances for 'blocks' (guesses). - Please post what leader you're guess with. - Once a week has passes, if no one has guessed (unless one of the herd leaders has posted in the 'away' forum) then you get the mare/stallion/foal.
Claiming - Do not go through with one male char and claim ever mare in the claiming threads. 'Nuff said. - If you want to claim land, message me or Phantom with you char's name and alignment, a small description of the land, and a 350+ word roleplay sample. If accepted, we will create a board for you under that alignment, and inside you will need to post a claiming thread, and then you're set.
